WHY TRY TAP WINE?
Uniquely, both tap beers and tap wines are offered at Atlas Tap. It is well known that beer served from the tap 'taste fresher' than beer from bottles or cans. But lesser known is the fact that wine on tap enjoys the same benefits as beer on tap. Wine is aged normally and then ported into reusable stainless steel kegs. The wine is rendered inert by a harmless carbon dioxide and nitrogen gas system. Like draft beer, tap wine first meets the atmosphere when poured into your glass - its freshness assured. 'Tapped' wine and beer also have profound economic and ecologic benefits versus traditional bottling. Tap storage dramatically improves product freshness, and lowers costs as there is no need for bottles, corks, labels, wraps. Consuming Tap wine thereby reduces, recycling, landfill - pollution.
To be sure, wine in bottles -almost an art form- will forever be part of the world's cultural fabric, but consumers and wineries here and around the world have begun to embrace the many benefits of Wine on Tap - try some.
